In collaboration with UCLA Arts Memes, this virtual exhibition was co-curated with artist Natalee Decker, featuring Undergraduate DMA student artworks.
SHOW STATEMENT:
REJECTED! 2021 is a collaborative studnet organized exhibition brought to you by UCLA Arts Memes. We seek to take advantage of the Internet’s boundless potential and offer an exhibition experience that is only possible in the virtual realm. As remote learning has hindered our ability to actively engage with our fellow studnets’ work, we sought to create a platform for our peers to share their talent, vision, and creativity without being bound to the limitations of a physical environment or the normas of a typical exhibition, A show that genuinely reflected the collective endeavor that is the internet. We are proud to provide a platform for students that accepts and presents all UCLA Arts + DMA works--the Internet is for everyone.
